At Massage Heights we believe that business should be about more than just making money, it should be about social responsibility and public good. We do this on a local level though partnerships with non – profit organizations in markets across the country where we have retreats and on the national level with our sponsorship of the American Cancer Society’s DetermiNation endurance event program.
Some consider massage self-indulgent. Medical research begs to differ. Studies prove a dedicated program of massage can help fight off disease and depression, boost immunity, relieve pain, increase alertness, improve sleep quality and even reduce the effects of PMS. It’s no wonder the health-conscious consider massage to be a vital and necessary part of a holistic wellness program. Indulgent? To those with a commitment to their health, it’s invaluable. Like us, the American Cancer Society is committed to helping people live.life.better every day; which is why we selected them as our national cause partner.
DetermiNation is the American Cancer Society’s nation of athletes determined to end cancer. This powerful and inspiring movement saves lives by enabling athletes of all abilities and volunteers to dedicate their training and participation in all kinds of endurance events to a lifesaving effort to fight a disease that has already taken too many lives.
In addition to our Corporate Sponsorship, as a National Team Partner of the American Cancer DetermiNation team, Massage Heights Member and Non-member Guests, employees, partners, family and friends have the unique opportunity to participate in the team either as participants or volunteers.
